In ancient cultures, elders were revered for their wisdom, today they are more likely to end up in old age homes. We need Elders with a lifetime of accumulated wisdom to guide us into a new creative, trustworthy, integrated, wise and joyful way of being.
The last three to four years of lockdowns, threats, blame, shame and guilt have brought a load of grief to many individuals, families, communities. This weekend is an opportunity to release some of that held emotion, stuck feelings and regain your natural vitality.
This module is focussed on the Earth and our connection to everything physical – in other words, every THING! This includes our own body which is our spirit’s ‘Vehicle of-Experience’ for this life on earth. The shamanic path is about developing our personal sovereignty, our right to Real-ise our True Self.
I call the work contemporary shamanism because whilst it is based on the teaching of the ancient shamans – the “wise ones” and visionaries of the old cultures – it is nevertheless modern in approach and deals with the issues and difficulties of contemporary life. Shamanism has always been a non-dogmatic, adaptable set of philosophies, attitudes and pragmatic solutions as it has always responded to the needs of the people of the time.
