Embark on a journey of profound transformation as Alchemy in Movement present a weekend of Trance Dance intertwined with the ancient tradition of a Sweat Lodge.
In the Gaelic language Beltane translates as ‘Bright Fire’, marking the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Midsummer Solstice. It stands as a sacred gateway for our community to honour the essence of light, warmth and unity.
On Saturday we commence with a Sweat Lodge ceremony – a time for prayers, invoking the blessings for a bountiful harvest and nurturing intentions for abundance across the land. We come together to celebrate the harmony of the masculine and feminine energy, fostering deeper connection within our relationships and igniting the flames of creative collaboration.
As the fertile Earth turns towards the peek of Summer the joy of being alive and interconnected with the natural world is palpable. Gatherings of community is traditional for this time, we return to the open spaces where we can share our stories and commune. We are able to reflect on the dream seeds planted in the quiet of Winter and witness their blossoming.
Beltane beckons us to embrace sensuality – to take pleasure in our bodies and to express gratitude for the vessel that carries our essence. And what better way to honour this than through Dance! We are coming together to celebrate the ancient rites of our ancestors – Fires will be lit, songs sung and stories shared.

Accommodation:
Camping on site is recommended. There are some options including a Treehouse, a mattresses in a static caravan or yurt share. Please enquire.
Camping in your own tent is included as part of the weekend.
